Getting to the library

You can find us opposite The University of Salford.

🚅  We are short walk from Salford Crescent train station, which has step-free access on all platforms.

🚌  Buses 35, 36, 37, 38, 50, 67, 100, V1, V2 and V4 stop near our building.

🚲  There are bike racks to the left of the library on Acton Square and a car park round the back.

🚙  If you are driving, then ask for a parking permit on arrival. No permit is required for the car park from 6PM and at weekends.

 

Accessibility

The ground floor of the library is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp on entry at the back of the building and a disabled toilet. Our events space also has a ramp on entry, an accessible toilet and an air purifier.

Our front door is quite heavy, if you need any assistance then please ring the bell and one of our members of staff would be able to assist you.
