International Solidarity Posters

The Working Class Movement Library is home to a rich visual archive showing how working class movements have used posters to communicate their message. From the internationalist vision of Walter Crane and his early socialist cartoons, artists have used visual techniques to communicate common themes of resistance, struggle and peace.

This current temporary exhibition is a snapshot of our poster collection showing the breadth of campaigns that the working class have engaged in and the connection and solidarity between working class people across national boundaries. Our exhibition is open until October and is free.
