Solidarity! Youth research project starts at WCML
We are delighted to be collaborating with Manchester Metropolitan University to support an exciting new youth research project funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
The project, being delivered by PhD candidate, Bea Tailby-Hardstaff, is a ten month project exploring youth perspectives on class and working class political history.
We are hoping to recruit up to 10 participants between 16 and 18 who will work with Bea as co-researchers during hands-on archival sessions at the library over this summer and beyond. The participants will have the opportunity to produce creative outputs that will help the library to attract younger people and to feed into the production of our youth strategy.
If you would like to find out more about getting in involved in the project you can visit the project site.
